About Water Filtration University Park

We are a family-owned, BBB accredited company that installs and services water filtration in homes across University Park, rated 4.9 stars from 325 Google reviews. Every job starts with a test, not a sales pitch. You get a written plan that shows what your water needs now, what can wait, and what upkeep will cost over the years.

Why we test before we recommend anything

Most treated city water arrives safe to drink. The common complaints are smaller and more specific: a disinfectant taste or smell, faint staining at fixtures, white scale on a showerhead, or a question about what older pipes might add on the way to the tap. Each has a different cause, and each calls for different equipment.

So we measure first. A water test gives us hardness in grains per gallon, iron, disinfectant level and anything else your question calls for. If the numbers do not support a water softener, we say so and leave it off the plan. If an under-sink reverse osmosis unit at the kitchen sink solves the problem, we will not sell you a whole-house system to do the same job.

The other half of our work comes after installation. Activated carbon gets used up, sediment cartridges load with particles, and RO membranes reject less over time. We put those dates in your plan from the start, so filter replacement becomes a line in your budget instead of a surprise when the water starts tasting off again.

How we work in your home

A written plan with a timeline

After testing, you get a line-item estimate that separates what we suggest now from what can wait a year or two. Each line names the part, the reason for it and its service interval. That lets you spread the cost on your own schedule.

Straight repair-or-replace answers

If your current system only needs a new cartridge, a resin cleaning or a new bypass valve, that is what we tell you. Replacement comes up when a housing is cracked, a control head has failed, or the unit no longer matches what your test shows.

Careful, clean installs

We shut off the water at the main, lay down drop cloths and photograph the plumbing before we cut in. Whole-house units go on the main line with a bypass loop, so water can keep flowing during future service. Old cartridges and packaging leave with us.

Upkeep you can see coming

We record install dates and pressure readings across each filter. The next cartridge swap or membrane change gets planned before low pressure or bad taste forces it.

Where we work

We serve homeowners in University Park and nearby communities, including Highland Park, Dallas, Richardson, Addison, Farmers Branch, Irving, Carrollton, Garland, Mesquite and Cockrell Hill. Plenty of houses in the area have plumbing that was repaired piece by piece over decades, so we check what pipe feeds your fixtures before deciding where a filter belongs. The Service Areas page lists our full coverage.
